MONTHLY MEETING
EZRA S. GRIFFIN CAMP #8
March 3, 1992
The meeting was called to
order by Camp Commander Robert Bergen followed by the recital of the Pledge of
Allegiance.
Other members in attendance
were:
Robert Shaffer | Robert Yeager | Ronald Albert |
Conrad Kwolek | Howard Wolfe | Chuck Mercer |
OLD BUSINESS:
Due to a
misunderstanding, the letter to the Commander of the Kingston Armory will be
written and sent out as soon as possible.
This letter deals with books and artifacts which once belonged to the
Camp in Wilkes-Barre.
No new information on the
headstone project at Forest Hills Cemetery was discussed due to the absence of
Joseph Long.
We will hopefully have his report by the next meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
A discussion was held on
the feasibility of having an inventory done at the Museum.
One way is to physically inventory everything and write it in a record
book. The
other way is to use a video camera.
No motions were made on this subject, so a further discussion will be
held at the next meeting.
We also discussed the
matter of purchasing a set of Advance the Colors for the Museum.
At this time Bob Yeager suggested that we bring this matter up at the
next Association Meeting.
In the absence of Joe
Long, Bob Yeager brought up the issue of chairs for the Memorial Day Ceremony.
It was suggested that we try to secure the use of a pick‑up truck
rather than a half dozen cars.
No decision was made at this meeting.
Our next meeting was
scheduled for the 9th of April 1992.
With no further business,
questions or comments, a motion to adjourn was made by Conrad Kwolek and
seconded by Charles Mercer.
Respectfully Submitted,
Robert C. Shaffer
Asst. Secretary
