MONTHLY MEETING
March 16, 1995
The
meeting was called to order by Commander Russell P. Jones, followed by the
Pledge of Allegiance.

The
minutes from the February meeting were read.
A motion to accept the minutes was made by Russ W. Jones and seconded
by Dennis Rightmire.
All were in favor.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
Joe
Long read the financial report.
Joe reported purchasing medals and consumables at a price of $196.00
($200.00 in fund).
A total of 13 members have not paid their dues to date.
A motion to accept the financial report was made by Bill Lindberg and
seconded by Russ W. Jones.
All were in favor.
The report was accepted and referred to the audit committee.
OLD BUSINESS:
The
By-Law revision has been postponed.
Grave Site Restoration - Joe Long talked to Dunmore, there will be a
fee and the Cemetery will make the footers.
Joe and Bill Lindberg will check into the cost.
Details to be checked out by Joe Long and committee.
Brother Bob Price is still in the hospital.
Members are urged to give him a call.
NEW BUSINESS:
A bill
for $18.20 was presented for Bob Shaffer for supplies.
An ad
for the Barber Shop program was discussed.
It was decided to place a $40.00 ad.
Name tags
and membership will be brought up at May meeting.
Delegates - travel - discuss at May meeting.
If anyone
has any new members, please see Joe Long.
The
Seal for Camp #8 was received as a gift, anonymously.
Joe requested an up to date seal be made for camp business.
Joe Long presented a bill for $41.54 for stamps, phone calls and cards.
We
have two brothers who are sick:
Thomas Gaughan and John Thomas.

Next
meeting, group fund raiser, think about it.
Dennis
Rightmire suggested membership drives and booths at local malls, etc.
No news
about the cannon.
There
will be a Memorial Day Picnic at the Lindberg's.
With no
further questions, business or discussions, a motion to adjourn was made by Joe
Long and seconded by Bill Lindberg.
