MONTHLY MEETING

 EZRA S. GRIFFIN CAMP #8

June 20, 1996

The meeting was called to order by Senior Vice Commander Russell W. Jones, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

The minutes from the May  meeting were read.

FINANCIAL REPORT:

No Treasurers report given.  No ticket winner for the month of May.

OLD BUSINESS:

Russ P. Jones and Joe Long represented the Camp at the presentation of the Flag for the 81^st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.

Essay Contest - we would like to get copies for the Camp files.

Received a $1,000 check from Phil Clifford (deposited in the Camp Account).

A motion was made by Bob Yeager and seconded by Russ W. Jones to revoke the membership of Phil Clifford.  This motion will be brought up at the next two meetings and voted on at the October meeting.

Fourth of July “Honor the Flag” Services to be held at Nay Aug Park.

Bob Yeager made a suggestion to hold future Camp dinners on Friday night instead of on Saturday night.

With no further business, questions or discussion, a motion to adjourn was made by Joe Long and seconded by Phil Jones.  All were in favor.
