OLD BUSINESS:

There will be an Open House on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 12:00 to 3:00.  Members are urged to come out and help.  The next monthly meeting will be held on October 21st, and the Open House will be held on October 23rd.  The meeting for the month of November will be held on November 11th and the Open House on November 13th due to many members going to Gettysburg for the observance of Remembrance Day, November 20, 2010.  There will be no meeting or Open House in December.

The meeting was then suspended to ask the Ladies to join us for a discussion on the Christmas Party.  It will be held on either December 2nd or 9th and will be catered at the Museum.  Cost to be determined.  The Auxiliary will furnish deserts.  A clean up of the Museum will be scheduled.

NEW BUSINESS:

Commander Sulger reported on the draping of the Charter.  Real Son Arthur Clark of Bangor, ME, passed away at the age of 94 years old.

Howard Wolfe checked for the availability of the traveling Civil War display for the State so that we may have it at the 2011 Department Encampment in Scranton.  It was noted that the display would be at the Everhart Museum on May 20th and in Monroe County at the time of the Encampment.  A check would be made to see if it would be available for the Encampment in 2012.
