OLD BUSINESS:

Joe Long explained how are dues work and how the money is distributed for the benefit of our guests.

Joe Long again requested that everyone get their dues in ASAP, due to the new deadline of January 1st.  Last year it took 5 months to collect all the dues.

An application for membership was approved and voted on for David Wenzel, former Mayor of Scranton.  A motion to accept the membership was made by Joe Long and seconded by Frost Decker.

Copies of the National Survey were passed out to anyone who needed them.  Ray Sulger made a motion to have the Camp pay the postage to send them in.  It was seconded by Joe Long and all were in favor.

Commander Sulger invited the Ladies to join us for the final discussion about the Christmas Party.  They stressed that the money must be in by the deadline mentioned in the file sent to everyone with last month's meeting notes.  The restaurant will not accept any add-ons after the due date.  One thing not mentioned in the flyer was the grab bag that we always have at the Christmas Party.  A gift of $10 is brought if you wish to participate.  A guy brings for a guy and a lady for a lady.

Due to rules in the C&R, the decision to have the Guard let people into the building once the Opening Ceremony has started is under advisement.  All members are asked to remember that the meeting starts at 7pm.  The C&R states that once the Opening starts, no one can enter or leave until it is finished.  If you "buzz" to get in and no one comes right out and it is after 7pm, please be patient.  It only takes a couple of minutes to complete.

Patriotic Instructor Craig Kelly gave a history on Veterans' Day.  He also acknowledged the Veterans present and thanked them for their service.

With no further business, questions or discussion, a motion to adjourn was made and all were in favor.

Respectfully submitted,

Ray Sulger
