NEW BUSINESS:

SVC Keklock again suspended the meeting to invite the Ladies in to discuss when they would distribute the flower petals.  It was decided during the reading of General Logan’s Orders.  A discussion was also held on the placement of the podium and where to place the chairs.  We will try to put the podium near the road with the people facing the Cemetery and their backs to the main street.

Bob Baker also reported that the 143rd re-enactors will picket in Tunkhannock the same weekend as the Department Encampment, June 28 and 29th.  A mini re-enactment is planned.  Anyone not attending the Encampment is welcome to enjoy the festivities.

GOOD OF THE ORDER:

Patriotic Instructor Dave Teeters gave a brief dissertation on the Origin of Flag Day.

50/50 winner was Joe Long.

With no further business, questions or discussion, the meeting was closed in ritualistic manner.
