MONTHLY MEETING

EZRA S. GRIFFIN CAMP #8

January 16, 2016  

 

The meeting was called to order in ritualistic fashion by Commander Dale Keklock.

The minutes for the November meeting were read.  A motion was made to accept the minutes by Hal Myers and seconded by Giovan Lisi.  All were in favor.

 

The financial report was read by Joe Long with the following information:

          Help money was $241.00

          November and December Ticket Winners not available

 

A motion to accept was made by Hal Myers and seconded by Dave Teeters.   All were in favor.

OLD BUSINESS:   

 Hal Myers reported on the communication devices used at Dunmore Cemetery.  They work very well and would be good for all functions.  Craig Kelly added they are portable communication device, worn around waist with headphone and microphone.  Would need to set up with speakers.  The cost per unit would be between $25 and $28 dollars and 3 extra headset would be extra.  They also have disposable parts for sanitary reasons.

 

NEW BUSINESS: 

 Joe Long, Craig Kelly and Hal Myers presented an Eagle Scout Certificate in Dickson City.  The ceremony went well and further functions as these are foreseen in the future.

Darren Pitts reported that the Facebook page has up and running for 4 months and has been viewed by many.

Our next meeting will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. followed by an Open House from 12 to 3 p.m.  All attending are asked to wear their Kepi cap.
