No report from Treasurer Howard Wolfe.  Secretary Shaffer gave a run-down on members paid.  Of the 83 members on the roster, 16 are life members, 21 have paid their dues, leaving 46 yet to pay.  Dues are due by mid February, so we are doing fine.  A motion to accept the report was made by Dale Keklock and seconded by Jim Jones.  All were in favor.

SICK MEMBERS:

Mark Myers' wife is now in the Carbondale Nursing Home and may not be able to return home.  He asked that we keep Judy and the family in our thoughts and prayers.  Tim Chase emailed Commander Skotleski and informed him that his family lost a close friend.

INVESTIGATING COMMITTEE:

Jerry O'Malley has no news on Cathedral Cemetery.  He is hoping for more information next month.

EAGLE SCOUT COORDINATOR:

Jim Jones reported that there is an Eagle Scout Court of Honot for Magnus R. Emery to be held Saturday, November 27th at 1pm at the Elmhurst Country Club in Elmhurst.  Commander Skotleski will make the presentation.  The second Scout is Jason Ephault, which is in progress.

CORRESPONDENCE:

All General Orders and Department Orders were emailed to members.

OLD BUSINESS:

No word on the room at the old Scranton School for the Deaf.  Jerry O'Malley said that he read that the foundation has applied for a grant for renovations.  Hal Myers spoke to Howard Wolfe and that more information will be available after the holidays.

Jerry O'Malley asked that we have a face to face meeting to talk about a media person.  This meeting would be held maybe at the Scranton Public Library in January, weather permitting.

NEW BUSINESS:

There will be no Auxiliary meetings for the Ladies until next Spring.
